CDP API Key Management

CDP API Keys are native to the CDP Portal. Most Coinbase products are replacing their legacy key services with CDP API keys.

Creating API Keys

1. Navigate to the Coinbase Developer Platform.
2. Select the API Keys tab.
3. Click the Create API key button.
4. Enter an API key nickname and click Create & Download.
5. Secure your private/public key pair in a safe location.

tip

To regenerate an API key, click Manage to delete and recreate the key.

Permissions

Admins and Owners can create up to 100 API key pairs.

• Admin and Owner types can create, view, and delete keys.
• Users can only view keys.
